I had some almond flour in the refrigerator that I wanted to use. Coming from Austria I could eat marzipan any time so this will be one of my new breakfast treats, especially when friends are coming round. Also, these are supposed to spread quite a bit. So make sure not to place them to close together! Next time I will try substituting more almond paste for the ground almonds and sugar in the filling.
